I still hate wordpress!
Things are starting to look better though. I mean today you can actually see my layout! But I’m not done yet and I still DON’T like it! Wordpress likes lists and other bad codes which I don’t like nor use so there’s a lot of crap to change. And lots of stuff I would have preferred to have other ways. The worst thing is that I don’t understand a lot of the advanced coding and I really hate having to rely on those codes made by Wordpress and not me. And sure wordpress has a lot of interesting feautures but personally ALL I want is a commenting system and a archive. I don’t need those other fancy feautures but here I am with tons of Wordpress folders and codes and still more modification to do. So much work for so little. I don’t even like updating my blog automatically. I guess I’m just THAT old fashioned.
Speaking of that, this spring I’ve been building web pages for nine years. And this fall I’ve been blogging for eight years.

Ah wordpress can be a nightmare sometimes. The only reason why I use wordpress is because I manage my entire site by it otherwise I would choose something simple like fanupdate. Hope you have more luck with wordpress!
It took me a while to get used to Wordpress too. But I like it alright. I used to update my blog manually, except the comments. I did my own archives and everything. Wow…

Yea. I didn’t like wordpress for the reason how you have to depend on their code for your website to work. I can understand it but I like to be able to make a website that I can have all of my PHP scripts in it, be able to take those files and upload them to a whole different server/domain without having to edit ANYTHING to make it work. It’s just a hassel. And wordpress isn’t very PHP5 friendly =x But good luck

Well, if WP is really bugging you, try FanUpdate. (: It’s really a great script, and easy to install. It’s a lot like CuteNews- it doesn’t take over your site, it just lets you blog and insert the post onto a page easily. Here’s the link: http://prism-perfect.net/archive/fanupdate/
Also, not that this is a big deal or anything, but your font is a tad on the tiny side. I’ve got pretty good vision, but I still like things a bit larger. Making it a tad larger might be a good idea (:
