After working at the festival on monday I walked home and spent three hours at home before I went back to the festival area for some partey. I got there around 11:30 PM or something and didn’t go home until more than twelve hours later in the afternoon the following day. What I love about the festival is that anyone can be your friend. Strangers party together and it’s easy making new aquintances. My friends from town left earlier than me but I stayed behind and hung out with random people in random camps and had a blast. After twelve hours of socializing at the festival camping I started my walk home. I stopped by the lake and took a swim since the weather was insanely hot. It was the best swim ever! Yesterday I had a insane hangover. Probably because of the absinth I drank. I felt sick for the entire evening and night. I’m staying away from that shit from now on!
Tomorrow I’ll be working again starting at 9 PM. I have no idea for how long I’ll work but it will probably be for at least twelve hours. It depends on wether the bands are in need of the spotlights I’ll be working or not. If they are I might be working until 1:30 AM or something. I’ll spotlight either Serj Tankian or Rage Against The Machine. Maybe both. We’ll see.

uhm, your adventures sound so cool!
especially the part with the swim in the lake – it is awesome. i wish i could have that, a lake nearby where i could just swim through at a hot day…
i’m jealous!
Yeah, festivals are cool like that. I’ve been to a few and it’s really fun meeting new people.
Wow, it sounds like you are having a blast! I would have loved the partying. And what is absinth? Sounds like really hard liquor.
It’s lovely meeting new people but it’s so annoying that you’ll never see some people ever again because people from all over the country come to festivals so some live so far away, what a bummer.
Woo it sounds so important to spotlight them, it makes you seem famous or something, haha.
Yeah that’s why I love parties, can totally make anyone your friend and just chat away XD ooo you work with bands like rage against the machine!? =O
hmm. completely jealous about the absynth
illegal in the states. boooo. i’m thinking that your festival is what’s also called a barter fair over here?
Sounds like you had an amazing time!
It’s great to meet new people… I went to a huge event a few years ago and didn’t really know anyone but ended up becoming friends with some people – we still keep in touch until now. ^_^
