School, the wild west and dieting.

Yesterday me and my family went to High Chaparral, a western themed theme park (Look at photos here). It was one of the best theme parks I’ve been to and a lot of fun even for adults. The theme park consists of a western style town, a old Mexican style town, a indian camp and a lot more. We rode a steam engine locomotive, watched a western open air show and a mexican show. And I saw a couple of hot cowboys. ;) Some girls like men in uniforms like cops, military men and firemen but personally I prefer men dressed as pirates, cowboys and knights. :P

Oh and I’m on a diet, which probably will fail, as usual. So far my best trick is working fine. My best trick is to have a cigarette or a fruit whenever I feel like eating but really shouldn’t. The cigarettes of course aren’t much healthier than chocolate and ice cream but I’m a regular smoker anyway so this doesn’t make much difference when it comes to my lungs. They’re allready black.

Meme

A meme!

1. Would you say you have an accent?
Rikssvenska with a bit of västmanländska. I’ll try to explain that one for you non-swedes. Rikssvenska is the purest form of swedish. A person speaking rikssvenska doesn’t have a accent. Västmanländska is a accent spoken in Västerås (where I lived four years ago) and is in some ways similar to the accent spoken in Stockholm. People often assume I’m from Stockholm based on my accent. And my english obviously have a tint of swedish pronunciation, which according to me sound quite horrible.

2. Do you hope to be married (married again if divorced)?
Not really. I hope to have a boyfriend who loves me but I don’t really care about marriage.

3. If you could take one technology to a desert island (the obvious satellite phone excluded), what would it be?
A boat. A fast boat.

4. What is the last activity you bought a ticket for?
Uhm, a buss ticket a couple of days ago. Exciting, right?

And I tag: Clare, Marie Claire, Pim and Suz. If you’re not interested in doing this meme it’s quite allright though. :)

My summer vacation is here

I felt like I was improving when it came to blogging on a regular basis but then I don’t know what happened and here I am without having blogged for over a week. I don’t know why.

Not much has been going on. The weekend was great though. Friday I hung out with the girls and saturday I went to a party in Vimmerby. After the party we went to the pub and then I went to a after party with a bunch of people who were there for the folk race which takes place in Vimmerby this week. I lost one of my cell phones there but the people I partied with found it so my dad drove me there today and I picked it up. Thank god for honest people and thank god for the cell not breaking after lying outside in the rain for several hours!

Work is closed for three weeks so for the first time in one year and a half I have more than one weeks vacation. That’s not as terrible as it sounds since I only work three half days a week. It’s still nice not having to get up early in the morning for three weeks though. My father also just started his vacation so since we’re all free from work for these three weeks we’re planning some family trips. This week we’ll go to High Chaparral which is a wild west theme park and some time during our vacation we’ll go to Gothenburg to Liseberg, a regular theme park. I love Gothenburg but I haven’t been there since I was eighteen so it will be nice to see the city again. My family will probably spend a whole day at Liseberg but I’m not sure I want to do that. Sure, theme parks are fun but personally I’d like to see more of the city than that.
