So it’s been ages since I last blogged. That’s because I’ve been sick and haven’t had the energy to do much besides lying on the couch, watching movies. I’ve been sick for more than a week and I’m still not well but screw that, I’m going to work tomorrow anyway. I just can’t stand another day at home. I’d rather sleep on a bed of nails than spend another day at home on the couch. I’m bored! It’s probably even more boring to read about so… change of subject!

Me and my sisters have decided that we’re going to the medieval week in Visby this summer. The medieval week is kind of like those renaissance fairs held in the U.S. There’s a fair, a medieval tournament and a lot of other things going on. And a lot of people – including me – dress up in medieval clothes. Visby is the perfect city for something like this because it’s the best preserved medieval city in Scandinavia and has been named a UNESCO World heritage site. The inner city is surrounded by a medieval wall and the city is full of old houses and ruins. It’s my favourite place in the world. Not that I’ve seen much of the world but still…

When I was looking at camping prices I was greatly annoyed by the discovery that my favourite camping no longer accept guests under the age of 25. Apparantly they think that anyone under 25 is a potential disturbance since young people are more likely to party and make a mess. That may be the case but not when it comes to all young people! Of course I can live at the camping since I’ll be 26 this summer but my sisters who are 21 and 18 can’t live there with me so this camping isn’t a option anymore. First of all they call themselves a family camping and that’s what we are – a family. Second of all we’re not there to party but to experience the culture and nature of Visby. And third – my 18 year old sister barely even drink alcohol. But oh no, all young people like to get drunk, party all night and disturb the other campers! Fucking bullshit…

There is another camping though. The problem is that it’s located 3 kilometers outside the city. That doesn’t sound far but compared to the other camping which is located 800 meters from the inner city it is. It’s also more expensive. Unfortunately we don’t have any other option since we can’t afford a hotel. At least it’s a really nice 5 star camping so I think it will be a great place to live, even though it’s a little too far from the city and a little too expensive.

Hi! I just came across your homepage, I like it so much! :) I can see that you are from Sweden. That’s so fun – I’m from Denmark! :P
That camping thing sounds idiotic! I’ve never camped before, but still… to bar people under the age of 25, that’s foolish. I don’t see their point.

Anyways, I will definitely watch your blog from now on – and: Get well soon. :D

Keep blogging while sick. o.o *hits with a stick* Nush, kidding. Sad to hear you’ve been feeling bad. Hope things are better now.
I’ve never been to medieval week myself. What do you do there exactly? :) Hope you’ll have a great time!
I know what you mean. It’s just like me and the show Lost. I haven’t watched a single episode although friends has been nagging forever. ._. I truly recommend watching O.C. again though. The last seasons may seem a little.. spaced, but they’re still as warm and funny. :)

Sorry to hear that you’ve been sick but glad that you’ve recovered enough to move around and blog again :) Wow… the medevil week sounds really cool, I want to go and check it out as well :)
That sucks… I hate places that ban you because they’ve had trouble before… that’s when we bring someone who’s 25 and older… haha

Yes I am living here and that’s always the first thing that pops in my mind “Whats with all the dry humping?!”

Sorry to hear that you’re sick hope you’ll start feeling better soon. Medieval week sounds like a lot of fun, I remember watching something like that on t.v and it looked like such a great time.
Not accepting guest under 25 really sucks. Its true not all teenagers act like wild animals…
Hope you have a better week and recover soon!

    sorry you’re sick!
I’m 29 weeks pregnant and pretty miserable, but I keep working even though I don’t have to. I could not sit home for ten more weeks with nothing to do lol so I totally understand why you want to go to work, sick or not!

I think I will try and get a new HDD. I don’t have a job or money at the moment, but maybe I can ask for a new HDD for my birthday or Christmas. I really want a laptop, so I can take my computer with me (especially if there’s a fire or something, I can grab my computer without wasting time) wherever I go. That’d be neat. :)

Aww, that suck that you’ve been sick! I hope you regain your energy soon.

Wow, they’re not allowing people under 25? That is the stupidest, most stereotypical thing I’ve heard in a long time. Well, I hope you have fun camping at the other location! :)

    Aww feel better. :]
And I’ll definitely take a picture of the skirt once it’s finished haha.

It’s that time of year to get sick :/ Chris got some kind of bug from work and brought it home to me. Usually I get the sickness and infect everyone else, but I guess the tables turned this time.

The Mideveal Festival sounds wonderful! I wish we had something like that were I live. You’ll have to take pictures — but I’m sure you already thought of that (=

Wtf at age discrimination! It’s so not OK, I understand it if some people can’t behave themselves, but to exclude so many that does, it’s distrurbing.
I so want to go to gotland someday, alot of people I know are obsessed with that island! :)

that stinks about not being allowed to go to your favorite camping spot anymore… if that five star thing doesnt work out, you’re always welcomed in my back yard. ;) lol

Sorry you’ve been sick :( I hope you get to feeling better soon.
The medieval week sounds pretty cool. That really sucks about your camping spot though. 25 is a random age for them to pick.

:) :D :P 8) ;)    :? :| :/ :O :( >:( >:) more »
