You’re very right, I never participate in temporary things like that because I feel like it would make me a hypocrite. If you’re going to do something make a habit of it.

Yeah I agree, I’m turning of my lights.. But that’s because I won’t be home at that time anyway haha.
I eat vegetarian and ecological aswell and recycle all that I can. I’m in a school that recycle so I have too but I used to so that’s alright.

Lol you always make the best points when it comes to economic situations. Youre right of course. It reminds me of the useless attempts at “new years resolutions” that people make. Even I myself am guilty of making them and then not following through. I’d like to think i conserve energy with little to no effort. it just makes sense to turn off all appliances and lights when you’re out of the house. or if youre the only one home & only occupying a small area of your living space. turning off the computer after use saves a lot on energy from what i hear as well

I agree. People will turn the lights off for an hour then everything will go back to normal. It would be much better to encourage people to get into the habit of turning off appliances everyday when they’re not needed, or make different choices when it comes to food like you have.

Not much people are even aware of this Earth Hour in my country and when I heard about it from my dad, I thought it seemed pointless. Turning off your lights for one hour doesn’t really do much for the environment, its just ridiculous.
People should really focus on doing things that would actually help the environment.

My sister is going to have a party on Saturday, that means we have to turn off the lights. At a party. And she’s having a masquerade bash LOL.
I see what you mean about earth hour… and I agree with you. It should be more of a long-term thing.
