Finnish summer soup

So I’ve decided to blog even when I have absolutely nothing new to tell you or talk about. So here we go. This is the results of my uneventful day. Well personally I don’t think grocery shopping deserves to be called an event. Buuuut, at the grocery store I bought a few things which I because of my lack of things to tell you will show you.

shopping

1. Two CD boxes with skulls on. I’m not sure what to use them for but I’m thinking perhaps when I travel or maybe for CD’s with photos and random computer back-up stuff. Whatever. They’re pretty and only costed me 10 SEK (1€) a piece so wether I actually will find a use for them or not is irrelevant.

2. A small notebook. Nothing special. I just needed a new notebook.

3. Garden gloves with strawberries on. Not that I have a garden but I do have a balcony where I every summer place some flower pots. Ok, I don’t actually need these gloves but they’re cute so yeah… I bought them anyway.

4. Plastic plates and cups with flowers on. These I actually need. They’re perfect for when me and my friends sit in parks drinking booze hold picnics in the summer.

AND now I can make finnish summer soup! Let me share the recipe. you’re gonna love it!

You need:
1 plate with flowers on
1 bottle of Koskenkorva (finnish vodka). Well it’s not a whole bottle per serving but you’re gonna want a re-fill, or two, or three or ten, you know.

Ok, so here’s what you do:
Pour the vodka on the plate. Eat with a spoon or drink directly from the plate. Who cares, you’ll end up drunk anyway! Add soda, marguerita mix or whatever for extra taste.

Enjoy!

  1. The gloves are so adorkable >< We don’t even take care of the plants on our balcony because one) We think they’re fake and they probably are. two) If they are real, they’re probably dead T_T lol.

    Funny recipe :P xxD

  2. Those gloves are really cute! You could hang them outisde as a little decorating thing! so even if you dont use em you can still see them=) I dont think you need to write super interesting stuff every blog update, I would never update if that was the case ;<

I don’t know what to think about that soup though ;O

  3. What a fantastically eventful day it must have been for you. I normally don’t by much apart from groceries at grocery stores. You should wear your strawberry gardening gloves like… always.
And chase people’s children with them.

    ARRRRGH.

  4. Nice stuff! Those gloves are really cute <:
I thought only Russians get drunk on a bench.. er.. I mean have a picnic O_O

I like the recipe (: I think it would be better to drink it with a spoon.

Are you the anonymous commenter on my blog?

  5. Haha, thanks for the tip! Silly girl. :]
Sorry for the late answer. Stuff has been keeping me busy. How are ya? And how is Opera? I’ve never tried it. Seen you’re using it though seeing you’re using Twitter through a widget. :]
