Today a customer at the thrift store basicly called my boss a racist. There was a disagreement and he said that if he had been swedish there wouldn’t have been a problem. I’m not sure what country he was from but apparantly in his mind the reason to why he couldn’t return the item was not because of our one week policy but because of his nationality. Fucking bullshit.
It’s just like the Israel/Palestine debate going on in Sweden. People have seriously accused Lars Ohly (the leader of the swedish left party) of being anti-semitic just because he criticize Israels politics. That’s very funny since the swedish left party are very involved in the fight against racism. Just because you criticize a country for it’s actions it doesn’t mean you have anything against them as ethnic group.
It’s the same with what happend at my job today. I guess it’s just a easy way to discredit your opponents.

Lars Ohly was never accused of being anti-semitic. He was criticized for naming a clearly antisemitic blog his “favourite”.
Lars Ohly has later admitted that the hateblog in question contained anti-semitic material.

there was a lady in a store that i worked at when i was in university and she was from Japan. she was attempting to do a fraudulent return, trying to steal from the company, and when i called her on it and asked her to leave the store she made it all about the fact that she was from Japan. Sorry lady its cause you are trying to steal not because where you were born.
why do people try to place the “Race Card” it just makes you look like an ass.
