OMG! This is my sixth blog post in a week! Amazing! This blogging more often thing is really working out. Mostly because I put less pressure on myself to write about interesting stuff. After all this is my blog and I should write about whatever I want to. If others don’t find it interesting they don’t have to read it.
Today me and grandma talked on the phone for more than two hours. As usual we mostly talked about politics. Grandma is one of the few people I know who’s as interested in that subject as I am. When Obama won the election I called grandma at 4:30 in the morning to tell her about it. I was so happy and needed to talk to someone, who wouldn’t be upset by me waking them up at 4:30 to talk about the american election.
The best thing with grandma is that we agree on almost everything when it comes to how a country should be ran. That’s great since I really don’t like discussing politics with people of different opinions since I tend to get mad at them. That’s mostly because of my involvment in politics during high school I think. While debating opponants you didn’t have to be nice. The whole point of debating is to crush your opponant. And then of course it’s the fact that I simply think that people who don’t agree with me are stupid or at least not as well informed or nice as me. Socialism is all about solidarity. Can it get any nicer than that? No, it really can’t. Therefor I’m nicer than the right-wing people.
Soo… nowadays I avoid any subject which might result in me raising my voice and calling someone stupid. You’ve seen Paris Gellar in Gilmore Girls? That’s me discussing politics. Yeah, seriously.
But you know what? Even if I can’t debate it I can blog about it. And perhaps I will. I guess I’d bore at least half of you to death but yeah, this is my blog so I write about whatever I want to! Ha!
By the way, Lars Ohly (the leader of the swedish Left Party) is so good at debates. I love how he uses sarcasm to crush the right-wing parties arguments. Gotta love that!

I agree with you that it’s annoying to discuss politics so I usually stay away from it in school ( im pretty outnumbered as it’s a leftwing school eloel.) I don’t agree on the socialism thing though XD I kind of think the real good thing is that the individuals free choice is the most important thing. I’m very afraid of communistic ideals – that force anything on anyone is wrong..free choice ftw.. anyway I know you must think I’m stupid or not informed now ^^; =D I am friends with leftwing ppl so I try to not get in debates ;/ but it’s sometmes hard to stay out of it and I hate it when ppl dislike you because of your political ideals, <<
and you don’t bore me at all.. I love writing about politics but Im sure most ppl don’t bother reading anyway! And stop writing you bore with your blog, you don’t! I think sometimes it’s most interesting reading about everyday ordinary life of people.
I’m a libertarian, so I agree and disagree with a little bit of everyone’s political ideologies so that’s why I find it hard to debate politics. I’m a fence sitter. Haha.
it’s really amazing that you were able to blog 6x in just a week and not running out of ideas to blog about.I’m not into politics but I love debating with other people about any topic as well, and end up just getting disappointed or mad at them. At least you have someone who shares the same opinion.
There was a time that I used to blog almost every single day and that was during my livejournal days! Couldn’t do that anymore though coz my blogging technique sort of changed already. It’s nice to know that you and your grandma have this special connection when it comes to politics. That topic never really caught my attention for some reason and unfortunately i’m not even updated with the current events so much :s Oh well that’s something I need to work on.
Hey! This is Ivy from So-Lovely.info. I have a new personal domain and won’t be using So Lovely for blogging anymore. Since we are affiliates, I thought I should inform you. I am commenting you to ask if you would still want to be Affiliates. If so or not, please do leave a comment in my new blog to inform me. Thanks!
Six blog posts in one week?? Goodness, I need to take lessons from you. Maybe my blog would be well-worth its money if I actually blogged that much lol. As for your grandma, it’s always nice to be able to talk about taboo subjects openly with someone. Politics and religion are usually the two subjects I steer clear from when talking to people, because I’m usually really open-minded about a lot of things… and most other people aren’t and get annoyed when I can see more than one side to things lol.
Do you always debate about it?
Yeah, its your blog anyway, sometimes I blog about nonsense in my blog and thinking if others can relate or not or can I blog something like this but in the end I say, “what the heck its my blog anyway” xD
Congrats on your sixth blog in a week. It seems that you are blogging more often.
I’m not good at debating and I always find myself stuttering my words when I do it. Then I end up speechless. Good for you and your grandma, I’m a actually a grandma’s boy. I was raised mostly by my nan so I kinda miss her.
In a country where politicical opinion rules just about everything (according to which one of the two main parties you support influences your job, life partner, friends and pretty much your life style … NOT KIDDING!) i’m one of the few who is lucky enough to have parents who come from the opposite sides, so i can widely asses the situation better before i can cast my vote hihihihi
… unfortunately though i’m not a huge fan x_x;
Hey affies, my url had to change. It’s now http://www.electricrush.webb.se/
