Both my grandmothers, my grandfather and my uncle arrived from northern Sweden today. They’re staying at my parents house for a couple of weeks and will be attending my sisters high school graduation. It’s great to have them here since we rarely see eachother because of the distance. It’s about 130 miles (807 american miles) between Kalix where they live and Hultsfred where we live.
My grandfather brought his ancient Nokia cell phone bought back in 1996 and when I saw his old brick of a phone I just had to take a photo of it. So you can fully understand the size of it I placed it next to my fathers cell, also a Nokia. Quite a difference, eh?

Haha I remember those cell phones. I didn’t get my first one until about 2005 and even that thing was huge.
My ‘main’ will always be a Gnome Mage but I’m rolling two toons and leveling them at the same time. Tauren Druid and Blood Elf Hunter.
Wow, those are big enough to be wireless house phones!
Hahahah! That’s an awesome “old” phone. I still have some of mine lying around the house.. Ah, the good ole days of carrying a metric ton around, hah.
I really like this new layout you put up. It’s killer. =)
Oooh! Ancient phone right there! It’s crazy how much they’ve changed throughout the years!
Oh andI hate being pale >.< I keep getting asked if I’m naturally ginger
.
Haha aww it’s so nice to have relatives over right right? haha
Lolz at your granddad! haha man he still uses it? That is so… i don’t know.. cool! I would like to bring one to school and whip it out and use it just to see what their reaction would be. Haha!
tc now! Man… technology really… how fast they change!
Aww its the picture of the cell phone with its grandpa! I bet its holding up pretty well it looks sturdy. Its great to see family that live far away. My inlaws live 1,000 miles away, I’ve only seen them once.
omgoodness that thing is OLD! i remember my dad used to have a older looking one than that picture. they’re hilarious-looking seriously!
hahs. but what are we gonna do without them, right? right. take care<3
That thing is ANCIENT! But it’s cool that the old phone is still functioning!
Too much of a big difference though. It’s eyepopping!
Hahaha, that is definitely one hell of a brick there!
I remember my dad’s old ones, fucking hilarious. XD
hahahha I remember those huge phones.. we would call the refrigeratos because they were so big V_V it is twice as big as the cellphone next to it.
Have fun with your family. (:
hehe yeah those phones kick the new phones ass though, still working after 10 years, that’s not something I expect of my new phone that stops working after 1, 5 years.:)
hahaha.. It’s so big.
Is it still working?
Hey the questions you’ll find at 85reddig.de/interview.php..the answers you can send me at 85reddig@web.de.thx!
That’s great that you’ve got all your family around at the moment, it must be really nice to see them again.
Holy cow though, that phone! Actually it looks a lot like my first cell phone (bought early ’98)…it’s amazing how much phones have improved in that time. Though my dad actually complains that phones are too small now and keeps saying they need to make “big phones”, lol. Somehow I don’t think that’s going to happen…I can’t imagine there’s much of a market left for big clunkers like that!
Btw, I checked out part of your ego gallery, I must say you have some really cool photos there. And wow, you’ve had so many different looks over the years! It was really interesting to see. You’re very photogenic too.
Man, I suck. I haven’t been here to comment or read in FOREVER. ;;smacks forehead;; I gotta work on my commenting friend’s skill.
LMAO at your grandpa’s phone! I remember when those were the “HUGE” thing to have. I can just bet it plays snake on it too! Classic, absolutely Classic!
OMG. What a big difference!
Um, whoa. Haha! That’s a huge difference. My parents had some pretty huge cell phones when I was younger.
Hahaha I remember when all cellphones were that huge!
