You know what’s sad? Teenage girls who, to use their own words “hate” the girlfriends of their idols. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this. I’ve read that Ville Valo’s now ex girlfriend was all wrong for him, Gerard Way’s girlfriend is a bitch and Pete Wentz wife a bimbo.
Who are the teenyboppers to say those things? They don’t know these girls. Obviously it’s all about jealousy. Because of course in their minds they would be SO much better girlfriends! Yeah, because which famous thirty something guy wouldn’t want to date a teenager who’s obsessed with him?
I remember the teen magazines I used to read where in every interview with a male celebrity they asked if he would date a fan. The guys always said yes but I highly doubt that they actually would do so. Dating someone who sees you as some kind of a higher being and knows everything about you must be extremely uncomfortable.

I think fans should be happy for their idols when they find happiness. I think most celebs would be okay dating someone who is merely a fan, you know someone who respects their work. But not an obsessive fan girl.

I get what you mean, when I’m reading comments on youtube there’s these ridiculous fights about who the celebrity belongs to o.O and which person would be a better girlfriend. Its amusing to say the least.
I’m not one to be obsessed over anyone but there’s this singer I love and for maybe about 30 seconds of my life I felt slightly sad he got married. It was an abnormal feeling xD

I’ve never understood that either. It’s one thing to admire someone, but to feel like you’re entitled to a personal relationship with them just because you’re a devoted fan? Weird. I think they’re jealous and slightly deluded.

What amuses me sometimes also is that, after watching a hit romance drama, fans usually say things like “oh i hope guy A and girl A would date in real life!” or “i wish they’d end up together! they’re the perfect couple BLA BLA..” it’s kind of funny.
Oh shit!!! I thought some of these people died at much older age or were alive or something.. I’m gonna go hang myself.. in three years when I’m 27.

I think some girls in their 20’s are sad too, seems that the “teen” years has gotten longer somehow. People my age seems retarded sometimes, beeing in love with your idols is not so weird though. I have still crushes on my “idols” but hating on their girlfriends would just be very strange haha!
