It’s funny when you find yourself thinking about executing computer commands in real life. The other day at work I was organizing books and put a book at the wrong shelf. For a split second I thought “I’ll click “undo move” to fix this”. Like you do when you’ve moved a file to the wrong folder on the computer. Then I realized “Oh yeah, real life doesn’t work like that”.
Another funny thing happened when I was watching the TV-show Jericho. Three people were hiding in a barn while a fourth was sneaking around outside. The people inside the barn stood there quietly to avoid discovery. Then my Anti-virus program made a sound to announce that the software had been updated. I immediately thought “Oh no! I hope he didn’t hear that!”. Yes. For a split second I feared that the sound from my anti-virus program might have compromised the safety of three guys hiding inside a barn, on a TV-show I was watching on my computer. Obviously a second later I felt kinda silly for thinking that.

Never thought that the television people could hear me, but I wish there was an undo button. Imagine being able to do anything you want and then simply press undo. That would be awesome.
hehe:) yeah, I use photoshop and paint with the computer alot, so when I paint in real life I can’t undo my actions, or flip the image horizontal. It feels very odd not to be able to undo my actions haha:)
Lol, I’ve done things like that before too, I think it’s probably pretty common amongst people these days if you think about it! We spend so much time on our computers it’s only natural for some of the jargon to get lodged in our heads and confuse us.
It would be very cool though if computer commands really did work in real life though! Like “Undo – Weight Gain” and “Delete – Annoying Brother”, lol. I would probably also press the escape key a lot! Hahaha.
I’m infamous for telling people that I’m going to ctrl+alt+delete them. Once I told my sister I was going to cut and paste her somewhere else. LOL
I’m really bad for talking to the TV. My boyfriend doesn’t really like to watch TV with me anymore; he always tells me that I get too emotionally involved.

I definitely “think computer” in real life. In fact, when I picture spelling out a word in my mind, I picture what keys I would need to hit to type the word, haha..
Absolutely. And I totally daydream about real-life situations being fixed by hitting “undo” or “delete”. Perhaps we should all be going outside more. XD
