I woke up to a grey sky and rain. I actually like rain, in the summer. This time of the year it’s not very pleasant though since it’s already cold enough without getting drenched in freezing water. Alas, the misery of fall!
I’m off to work in less than an hour and I don’t look forward to going there. My last work may have been 2 (metric system) miles (20 minutes by car) away but at least I got to go there by car with dad. Now I have a job in my home town which of course is nice but which also means that I have to walk or ride my bike there. Even in the pouring rain.
Speaking of something else. I wonder when I’ll get the vaccine against H1N1. Everyone in Sweden are being vaccinated for free but right now only those in the risk groups. My sister had the vaccine a couple of days ago due to her being in the risk group because of her diabetes. The rest of us have to wait a while longer though. Are you getting the vaccine fellow Swedes? Are there any other countries that vaccinate their entire population by the way? Obviously considering the American health care system that’s not the case with USA.
And speaking of that. What do you think about the American health care reform? I think it’s great. It’s insane that people can’t afford health care in USA. Really insane.
Now I need to get dressed since I’ll be off in not too long. Laters!

Jo, det är några länder till som massvaccinerar fast jag kommer inte ihåg vilka.
Här i Uppsala har jag fått vaccinera mig i någon veckan (som student är jag tydligen någon form av riskgrupp, haha) men har inte gjort det. Hade halvt gjort planer på att vaccinera mig i fredags då det var sista dagen på medicinska biblioteket för mig, men så blev jag väldigt förkyld och då ska man ju inte vaccinera sig mot något.
Jag väntar fortfarande på att få vaccinera mig, men jag känner ingen direkt brådska. Halva stan har redan haft influensan så det känns som det i princip håller på vara över redan
Att pixla är inte så svårt som det kanske ser ut. Kan man rita för hand kan man pixla också, det är bara ett annat medium. Så det är bara prova!
why on earth would you want that? every year there is a different influensa but the difference this year is that the swedish government was stupid enough to buy all this vaccin for ALOT of money so now they are hyping it all over the media..this influensa is nothing to be worried about. Several people in my class has already have it and they were sick for about 10 days. those people i know who got the shot actually are sick for longer time, and are suffering from the sideeffects.. i would NEVER take that, and would never allow any child or old person to take it. the sideeffects are worse than actually having the swine flu.
maria – Personligen tror jag att sidoeffekterna är vad som hypats i media. Jag vet dock att svininfluensan inte är så farlig som media får den att framstå som. Det är spridningen mer än sjukdomen i sig själv som orskat en massa halabaloa. Dock tar jag gärna ett vaccin om det innebär att jag slipper influensan i år.

Nej, det där låter som löpsedelsskitsnack tycker jag. Även om sjukdomens farlighet har blåsts upp också så finns det inga belägg för att vaccinet skulle vara värre än sjukdomen.
Jag har varit emot vaccineringen innan. Men nu känns det som att det vore bättre att ta sprutan ändå. Hellre kass i ett par dagar än i flera veckor av influensan. Jag har tid imorgon så jag ska nog ta den då ^^.
