I got home from work a while ago. Usually I’m not home until 2 PM but today I got off earlier since everyone were going to this Christmas lunch, except for me. I don’t care for things like that since I don’t socialize with a lot of the people I work with.
Want to hear something funny? Of course you do. So this is what happened. I was organizing books at work, standing in a pretty secluded area of the store, when all of a sudden the lights went off. I was like WTF? Then I realized OMG the Christmas lunch! Everyone’s leaving and no one noticed I was standing here! I ran to the door – which was locked – and knocked frantically. I was lucky because everyone were standing outside deciding who were going in which car so one of the bosses let me out. They were like “where were you?”. I think they assumed I had already gone home since they knew I wasn’t going to the lunch and they couldn’t see me anywhere. Jeez, wouldn’t being locked in at work for the rest of the day have been fun!

OMG, it’s good that they saw you and let you out. Being stuck at your work all day would have been so harsh. I know at my work, if that had been me, everyone would have stood and looked at me, before going back to what they were doing. Or they would have just ignored me period.

Awh , why don’t you like going to stuff like that ! I think it would’ve been fun , maybe you should give it a try one year! But, LOL if u would’ve been stuck at work that definitely would’ve sucked. Happy that you got out of there safe! I can only imagine.

Sorry to hear that happen to you hun…atleast if you got locked up at work you could be like “The fact that you locked me in the store should give me the next day off of work since your sorry butt forgot bout me and you failed to check to see if the store was clear before locking up” *LOL* Try and get a day off out of ya boss *winx*

Your work you can’t open the door from the inside? You don’t have the cellphone number of your boss or another coworker? If you work in a bookstore though, maybe you could have just relaxed and read while you waited for someone to come back and rescue you.

OH MY GOODNESS! The same thing happens to me. I like to organize the book section in my store and when I do everyone thinks I have left the store. I hear them start talking about me wondering where I went. It’s kind of funny.

LMAOO. That’s too funny. I would’ve taken a nap with my lazy butt. I hardly get any peace and quiet at home so, I would have enjoyed being alone. I wish someone would lock me up at my job. That would be the best nights sleep EVAR.
