“Just because they serve you… doesn’t mean they like you” is the tagline of movie Clerks which I’m watching right now.

Anyone’s who’s worked retail knows how true that quote is.

This is partly why I want to work as a web designer. Minimum social contact. I’d love working as a web designer and just sit in front of my computer and not have to deal too much with people. Of course I want to be the web designer of my own company since I’d prefer to live without co-workers doing things the wrong way and bosses telling me to do things in a way I don’t like. When it comes to my work (whichever work) I’m kind of a control freak. I do things my way and really hate when people mess up and change things I’ve done in a way I think is good. I was in charge of the book section at my old job and it really bothered me when co-workers messed up the system I maintained. I knew exactly where to put things and then people put things in the wrong place. It bothered me more than it should since mostly no one but me noticed these errors. Yeah, I’m a perfectionist as well and it’s really not realistic to expect people to fully grasp my way of doing things all the time.

So yeah, working alone is my thing and hopefully in the future that’s exactly what I’ll do.

Haha, jo, det är klart. Du måste ju åtmistone inte hantera dem hela tiden. ;)

Well you most deff have talent in web design~
It does seem like the ideal job if you’re less interested in social enactment, I guess hahah I’m quite the opposite.. but I must say I have worked in retail and understand that statement extremely well.

Yeah, I agree with you. Working with the public is really hard. People are so difficult to please. You have some great webdesigning talent, so I bet you’d do great making websites for people!! Good luck!!!

I can totally relate to this. Even doing group projects at school aggravated me because I liked to do things my own way and everyone else either did nothing or did it the wrong way. =/ I think a career in webdesign would be perfect for you though. Even just from looking at this site here, it’s obvious you’ve got ability, so hey, why not channel that into a career? :) Oh, and good luck with your uni classes this upcoming semester! (I was reading your previous entries before since I missed a bunch). I can understand your nervousness, but just try not to stress too much because things like that usually seem much worse at first than they actually turn out to be. I’m sure you’ll be fine! :)

Man I feel like I’m half half, half introvert and extrovert. I don’t want to be cooped up inside my home but somehow traveling alone or going off to a lone corner and just think and enjoy the silence and work alone is more fun than going out to a party. I don’t know, I think it’s just moody me. Go Angelica, I’ll root for you! :D

Is that the Clerks movie that’s all in black and white?

:) :D :P 8) ;)    :? :| :/ :O :( >:( >:) more »
