I just thought I’d let you know that no, I’m not dead. My lack of blogging and activity on the blog scene is due to dealing with a lot of school work. Expect me back some time next week.

And in response to the last comment you left on me sitely site: ‘At first I didn’t realize what kind of fish you were talking about but when I looked it up on Wikipedia it said siamese fighting fish and that’s a name I’m familiar with. A fighting fish! How cool is that!’
Yeah, I totally forgot to explain in the entry that it was also called a Siamese Fighting Fish … And I also forgot to explain how I know my fish is a male, as well!
For sme reason I can never remember all the little details I need to add to entries until many weeks later. >:( Grr!

Correct! They will, indeed, fight to the death. The only way you can put two of ‘em in one tank is if you have a divider between them, of course. And adding different types of fish in with Bettas is always a challenge, too, because if the Bettas aren’t attacking them, then the other fish are nipping at the Bettas delicate fins!
It sounds like a lot of work to have more than one, so I think for now I’ll just stick with my red beauty … I wish I could have a whole bunch of different types, though, they’re so much more fun to watch in a group!

Focusing on your school work is a great reason for not blogging. Keep your nose to the grind stone (ouch?). We’ll still be here.
