Mixed music CD exchange!

Would anyone like to exchange a mixed music CD with me? I burn a CD with my favourite songs for you and you burn one with yours for me.

I listen to alternative rock, industrial, gothic rock, death rock, darkwave, punk, indie pop, folk and metal. Of these alternative rock, gothic rock and industrial is what I like the best so expect a lot of that kind of music on my CD. And a lot of Manic Street Preachers songs, of course. :D There won’t be much contemporary chart music though because I hate 90% of the crap on MTV. Meaning no Lady fucking GaGa and no hiphop.

Interested in widening your musical horizon? I listen to awesome music. ;)

Check out the updates in the sidebar by the way because even if I haven’t blogged much lately I’ve still updated the site with lots of photos and art.

A gothic mansion, among other things

I’m not dead. Just very, very busy. School is hell right now and there’s no relief in sight. I’m done with one course soon though but that doesn’t mean there’ll be less studies since I’m starting a new one in two weeks: Graphic Design for the Web.

In 3D modelling I’ll soon start working on building my dream house in 3D. How fun isn’t that?! :D I’m a bit worried about the project though considering I’ll be building a “kråkslott”. I’m not sure how to translate that but think old haunted house minus the spider webs and filth. Something going in this style. My house will be a gothic mansion with four towers, a veranda, four balconies, lots of intricate ornaments and Victorian furniture. I don’t think I could have picked a more advanced style. Designing a modern house would have been a lot easier considering they’re all about straight lines and minimalism but if I had made such a house it wouldn’t have been my dream home.

I see before me weeks and weeks of studies and seclusion. In other worlds, life will continue the way it has been since this term started. In three months I’ve been to three parties. My social life is thriving.

Stuff, stuff, stuff. So much stuff.

I don’t have a lot of unnecessary stuff in my apartment since there’s really not room for much more than the necessary. I have two and a half closets for all my clothes, towels and bed sheets and a cleaning closet (or whatever it’s called) for cleaning supplies and storage of extra shampoo, toilet paper etc. For personal rather than necessary things I have a cabinet in the hallway and a chest in the living room and that’s it. That’s how it goes when 400 books and their shelves takes up most of the space of the apartment.

Still, I have lots and lots more stuff than what’s in my apartment. In the basement storage room which holds all the things I don’t want in my apartment but don’t want to throw away either plus winter clothes, cat carriers, bags and stuff I don’t have use for all year round. There’s also a lot of empty boxes there right now which I’m saving since I plan to move and will be needing them then. Today I was organizing the storage room and it ended up quite all right. It still looks messy but now at least everything is in the right boxes. You see I dump things there for months in piles and plastic bags which leaves the room in a total mess which I then have to deal with sooner or later. Today was one of those days and this is what my organized storage room looks like.

Can you imagine all this stuff in my 26,5 scare meter apartment?!
