It’s such a shame my inactivity in the blogosphere has made my site loose like half of it’s visitors. The daily hits used to be twice as many and I used to get a lot more comments as well. I really miss that. Oh well, it is as it is.
Today because of computer malfunction I’m in a really crappy mood and therefore don’t have much to say. I’ll leave you with some photos instead.
In August I bought tree more books in the Vampire Chronicles series. Just a few more and I’ll have all of the books.

OMG, I can’t believe I’ve never thought of organising my media and books that way before — How fucking clever is that?! I organise all mine by size, you see … Size and type. Like, if it’s books, I organise mine by size and hardcover/softcover, and if it’s my old VHSs, it’s size and large plastic cases/small cardboard cases. As I said, though, I like yours way better. =3;
And you’re not alone in the whole site suddenly being unpopular thing — My visitor count dropped by half, as well, and my comments dropped even lower than that!
I suppose, just like anything else, owning and maintaining a ‘popular’ site is a give and take kinda thing. Argh.
Sadly, I’ve noticed the same thing (even without using a hit counter) – the less noticeable my online presence and the less comments I leave on other blogs, the slower my traffic seems to be too. Like Mallory above me said though, I guess it’s a bit of a reciprocal thing.
I love the way your books/DVDs/CDs look like that! The grouped colours is very aesthetically pleasing.
Personally I just organize my CDs alphabetically by artist, but with books and DVDs I have a rather odd order that they must be in, regardless of size/shape/colour/whatever…I don’t think it could possibly make sense to anyone else, but somehow it does to me!
Also, those curved shelves are fabulous. And what a clever idea, too!

I like how your stuff is organized. I never thought about sorting them by color. I have my books sorted by topic. But I don’t really have as much shelf space as I need so it’s very messy right now.
I love the way you’ve organised things. I’d try organising things by colour, but my luck, I’d never be able to find certain things because I’d forget the color of the package/cover.
