More summer balcony

Today I bought more flowers for the balcony. It’s turning out pretty nice and I love being out there. It’s such a difference from last year when I didn’t have a single flower on the balcony.

Me today before going shopping.

I bought a rose plant.

A Marguerite bush, which I need to buy a pot for.

And a Kalanchoe. Or as we call it in Sweden “våreld/höstglöd” which translates to “spring fire/autumn glow”. A much prettier name according to me.

The other end where I grow vegetables and herbs. Nothing to see there yet.

Today’s balcony dinner. Potato gratin, raw salmon cured in salt and sugar (sounds weird, tastes delicious) and a glass of Trocadero, a Swedish soda.

    • Part of it is gorgeous, lots of trees and I can see very far. Unfortunately the highway passes by my house so that’s also part of the view.

  1. Yummyyyy- What are those roll things?? They look so cool.

I wish I had the artistic gene to decorate my balcony as prettily as you are. (granted my roommate would probably destroy it with cigarette butts).

Aren’t they the best, though? During summer, I eat every meal out on the balcony! Especially great when you live in a city.

    Best,

    Gabrielle
