I first heard about book spine poetry from Maria and I just had to try it myself. Book spine poetry is simply making poems out of book titles. I translated the poems to English. Just the words, not the titles themselves. If I had done that the poems would have made no sense whatsoever in English.

En gyllene bur
Bakom stängda dörrar
Himmelsbarnet
Solens dotter
Vingklippt
Spårlöst försvunnen
Translation:
A golden cage
Behind closed doors
The child of heaven
Daughter of the sun
Wing clipped
Gone without a trace

Dödens sändebud
Pestens tid
Mitt hjärta gråter
Dagar av skräck
Bortom helvetet
Innan jag dör
Translation:
Messenger of death
Time of the plague
My heart is weeping
Days of horror
Beyond hell
Before I die

Svindlande höjder
Under främmande himmel
Brustna vingar
Ängelns lek
Translation:
Wuthering heights
Beneath a strange sky
Broken wings
The angels play

Ensamma tillsammans
Farliga förbindelser
Känn pulsen slå
Translation:
Alone together
Dangerous liaisons
Feel the pulse beat

Skuggorna i spegeln
Främlingen
Den jag aldrig var
Translation:
The shadows in the mirror
The stranger
The one I never was

Avalons dimmor
Sista avfarten till älvalandet
Translation:
The mists of Avalon
The last exit to fairyland

What a brilliant concept, I haven’t heard of it before. Those book titles are beautiful, I think all mine are pretty boring!
Vad vackert!
That’s a really cool idea. I don’t know if any of my books would go together like that.
