Summer is here and people are tanning again. Some only tan during the summer but others lie in tanning beds during winter to maintain their “healthy” glow. Me, I’m as pale as ever. My SPF 50 sunblock and SPF 15 mineral make-up are close friends of mine. I love sunshine and being outside when the weather is nice but I protect my skin from the sun and never ever tan. Personally I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with getting a tan. I honestly don’t think it makes people look any more attractive.
Some say a tan makes you look healthier. Then I prefer looking sick because at least I am healthy compared to those grilling themselves under the sun increasing the risk of getting skin cancer. Now skin cancer is not what I call healthy.
Also tanning makes your skin age. Is having a tan really worth getting wrinkles and looking older than you would have otherwise? I’m positive that the fact that I protect my skin from the sun has something to do with why I have so few wrinkles and therefore look younger than my actual age.
This is what I look like right now. I’m a pale girl and I have no problem with that.
And here are some celebrities not ashamed of their pale complexion.
Dita Von Teese
Rachel Evan Woods
Nicola Roberts
Nicole Kidman

I personally do think I look hotter with a tan. But I only tan in the sun. I am bad at putting on sunblock though…And I still look younger than my age!
Jag tror att det är mycket på grund av min orynkiga hud jag så ofta blir misstagen för en sjuttonåring
OCH man är så mycket snyggare när man är blek, imo ^_^
Jag är blek året runt, och jag trivs!
