My name is Angelica and I’m a 29 year old woman from Sweden. I was born on the 29th of July 1983 in the northern part of the country but live in the south since many years. The place I call home is Västerås, Swedens fifth biggest city, located one hour from Stockholm. Here I live in a 29 square meter black, white and pink apartment with my cats Sarah and Nicky Wire plus my boyfriend when he visits. My family who all live nearby consists of my parents and my three younger siblings, 25, 22 and 19 years old.

I work as a sales clerk but I aspire to be a professional web designer. I’ve studied web design, IT, Flash, 3D modelling, graphic design and political history as a distance education university student and some day I’ll continue my studies.

In my spare time I enjoy doing creative things. I paint and draw (both digitally and traditionally), I build web sites, I write, I sew and create things out of just about anything, including – in the case of web design at least – thin air.

Besides creativity I also fill my life with music and literature. I enjoy many literature genres but in my large collection of books fantasy is what you’ll find the most of.

When it comes to music I have a preference for alternative rock, goth, industrial, indie pop and punk. My favourite band is Manic Street Preachers who I admire immensely not only for their brilliant music but also for their intellect. Among other things they sing songs about politics from a left-wing stance which I being of the same political stance of course find extremely inspiring.

Being left-wing socialism, feminism, vegetarianism (although I’m a pescetarian, a vegetarian who eats dairy, eggs and fish) and environmentalism are ideologies I subscribe to. Call me an idealist, I’m proud to be one.
