I miss my pink hair. And I kinda miss the bangs I sported back then as well. I just looked a lot more interesting five years ago. I can’t dye my hair a weird colour now. I have really long hair which took me four years to grow out after I ruined it with too much bleach. And since pre-bleach is a must before dying my hair bright colours, that’s just not going to happen. I love my long hair which contrary to so many other people with long hair these days is real. I see many people with fantastic hair. Only it isn’t really fantastic because it’s fake. They all use “Rapunzel of Sweden” extensions. I’m the real Rapunzel. The only extensions I use are thin brightly coloured clip-ins but I don’t think that’s the same thing. I add some streaks of colour, not fifty centimetres of length.

What do your hair look like? Have you ever used extensions?
I’ve bought hot pink clip-in hair extensions to wear on Christmas with my pink dress. I bought white and baby pink extensions at the same time.
I’m still sick and even feeling worse today. I’ve slept the entire day and woke up at 7PM with a fewer and a even worse cough than yesterday. Not on top of the world!
At least I’m happy over the Christmas presents I’ve bought myself. Since I can finally wear colourful clip-in hair extensions I bought five hot pink, two baby pink and two white 50 cm clip-in extensions. Since these extensions has to be clipped in underneath your hair so the little comb isn’t visible they don’t work well when all of your hair has the same length. Now when the shortest layers of my hair is only 10 cm long I can clip in the extensions under that hair et voila 40 cm of them are visible. They’re a bit too short but it’s hard finding anything affordable which is 65 cm long like my hair.
I also bought a new straightening iron. I have three but they’re all the old cheap kind which doesn’t work well. Now I bought a Ga.Ma Italy CP1 Electronic Ceramic-ion which was rather expensive but according to the reviews I’ve read about it one of the best straightening irons on the market.
I’ve also bought this. Or rather I bought it but my parents will pay for it. Every year I get a outfit for Christmas as one of my Christmas presents from my parents. The bow isn’t new but it goes perfectly with the dress so I will wear it with it. I’ll probably wear a black glitter cardigan over the dress plus black glitter stockings.

Here’s another photo of my new haircut. I like fluffy hair. After all, I’m an old panda. For you non-swedes, that’s a subculture. Google “panda poppare”. That’s the way I looked when I was younger.
Other than looking fabulous I’m not doing much. I’m sick actually. The fewer comes and goes and I’m coughing. So why do I look so fabulous when I’m home with the flu? Well actually I’ve barely touched my hair today. The teased style simply lasts surprisingly well. All I had to do today was comb and spray it a bit. Took like one minute. I didn’t want to look like I got straight out of bed when I went to buy dinner.
Other than that short arrend I’ve spent the entire day working on a digital painting. It’s coming out… not like I visualized it. But my paintings never do. I’m not talented enough to make them come out as amazing as I see them in my head. I’m very new to digital painting though so I guess not much else is expected. I’m not going to show you what I’m working on because the only thing worse than a bad painting is a unfinished bad painting. There’s still hope you know. When I’m done with it maybe it’ll look good. I give you this. It’s a portrait and it’s gothic. It’ll probably just take forever to finish. I worked on my last digital painting for a month.

New haircut. Same length, more layers and volume. At least it’s supposed to be more volume. On my way home from the hairdresser the snow made my hair flat and I still haven’t quite figured out how to style it myself. It’s been so long since I had a haircut that required styling. Now I’ll need to blow dry, straighten and tease it. Oh my. How long will it take for me to get ready in the mornings now?

This is my favourite photo of myself – ever. I look like a friggin model in this photo and that’s not a look I usually convey!
I miss the pink hair I had back in 2006 but I won’t dye it that colour again. Extreme colours needs so much pre-bleaching that it just ruins my hair.
Speaking of hair colours. After almost two years of dying my hair black I’m getting a bit sick of it. I think black suits me best and I love the colour but I like change. Since I’ve been growing my hair long for almost two years now and plan on growing it even longer I can’t change my hair style so what has to change is the colour. There’s a problem though. My hair is about as dark as it gets so dying it another colour really won’t do much good. My reddish blonde roots will change colour but that’s it. There’s of course bleach but there’s no way in hell I’m doing that to my hair again. That leaves the option to grow out my natural hair colour and then dye it but that would take like three years. Oh well I guess I’ll have to stick with black. Or perhaps I could just buy some clip-in hair extension of a interesting colour and wear once in a while. That way at least part of my hair could be pink again – without bleach.
My blog is under a porn spam attack. The WP anti-spam plugin I used was great but unfortunately it blocked a couple of regular commenters as well so I decided not to use it anymore. Perhaps it wasn’t such a good idea.
I bought a couch bed at the second hand store I work at. It’s black, from IKEA and costed me 200 SEK (19€) (28$). I donated my old couch to the second hand store and my bed is now stored in my basement storage room until dad takes it to the dump. Of course having to put the bed sheets in a closet every morning and then re-making the bed every night is a bit annoying. On the other hand one couch bed is better than both a couch and a bed. At least when you live in a apartment as small as mine. 28 square meters really isn’t a lot.
I need to dye my hair. Look at these roots. And look at the rest of the poser photos I took of myself today.

So this is how I look with my new dark red (or “intensive red” as the hair dye was called) hair. At first it felt really weird but now I love it. Although I’ve been blonde for one and a half year I’ve always preferred myself with dark hair. I espescially love black hair so I conscidered that colour aswell. I decided on red though because if I dye my hair black there is no regretting it and getting another colour. That would take a lot of bleach and I won’t do that to my hair again. I’ll stay red for a while now and when I decide to change my hair colour the next time I’ll go back to black. I always do that! I’ve had every hair colour there is but I always go back to black.
Some people never change their hair but I do it all the time. After all it’s just hair. It always grows back. I don’t regret being a blonde even though the bleach ruined my hair and I had to cut off most of it. I’m not too fond of having this short hair but it will grow so it’s ok. In a couple of years perhaps I’ll have long hair again. Changing your hairstyle is such a fun way to alter your looks.
Here are photos of all the hairstyles and colours I’ve had since I was sixteen. Before I was sixteen the most extreme thing I’d done to my hair was to dye it a couple of shades darker than my natural colour and cut it shoulder lenght.
Some of you wanted to see photos of my new haircut so here we go. I didn’t cut my hair this much just becuase I wanted shorter hair. Actually I didn’t want shorter hair at all. A word of warning; take it easy with the bleach or it might ruin your hair as it did mine. 10 cm of my hair is gone and I can’t say I like it. On top of that I haven’t even bleached my hair in six months so now a third of it is has my natural colour while the rest is what’s left of the bleached.
