…my face and looks. Because I’m shallow like that, or rather, I can’t come up with anything else to write.

1. I was thirteen when I saw a eyelash curler for the first time and was like “wtf is that?!”. The concept of people actually curling their lashes seemed utterly bizarre to me. Of course my lashes are naturally curled so I wouldn’t know whether that makes a big difference in appearance or not.

2. I never leave the house without at least one coat of mascara since my eyelashes are naturally light blonde and therefore invisible without make-up. With one coat of mascara I still look like I’m not wearing any make-up but I look like someone with dark eyelashes who isn’t wearing any make-up.

3. I hate using powder, foundation and mineral make-up. I tend to only use mineral make-up if I’m going to a party or other special event. The exception is in the summer when I wear SPF 15 mineral make-up to protect my skin from getting a sunburn and tan.

4. I get freckles in the summer. I hate them.

5. My teeth are chipped because of the type of piercing jewellery I used to wear when I was younger. Now I tend to only wear a ring not to damage my teeth or gums.

6. When I was younger I plucked my eyebrows so much that some hair roots were permanently damaged and the hair stopped growing back. Because of this I have uneven eyebrows which I have to keep thin if I don’t want them to look too patchy. I’ve started filling them in for a more even look but I haven’t got used to seeing myself that way yet so I think I look a bit weird with thicker darker brows.

7. My hair is naturally wavy. Just enough to make it look interesting without being difficult to straighten if I want to.

8. I got glasses back in 2007 but I never wear them since I don’t think glasses suits me. I can manage without them but everything further away than two meters looks slightly blurry to me. I want to get lenses.

9. I love the smoky eyes look but think it looks stupid on me so I do cat eyes instead.

This is my boring make-up. When I don’t have the time or energy I only put on mascara and that’s it. I hate that look though. It’s so boring. I need at least my eyeliner cateye wings to feel pretty.

Now I’m going to bed. Work tomorrow. But then my weekend start since I don’t work Fridays. Lucky me!
